So ever since the tv was integrated into your fridge, and motion sensors were invented I think people have been craving their electric gadgets found throughout the house to be connected to each other. Of course, with the rise of crowdfunding and companies like Intel and HP working on the idea, the internet of things, is here. Lightbulbs connected to your phone, ovens on wifi, heck, even my PC is connected to a wifi connected power socket that turns on when I hold my phone up to an NFC tag on my front door! The time of inter-connected “things” is upon us, whether we like it or not. Yes I’m sure there’s a huge potential for Big-Data to harvest info based on our “things”, but just imagine the convenience!
So would you buy into it? Would you rather interconnected devices? Or do you love your old school “On-Button” tech? Lemme know in the comments!
